How to uses Saffron threads
To release the flavour & colour, steep a pinch of threads in hot water for a minimum of 15 minutes, or overnight before use.
Saffron adds colour & flavour to almost any dish from rice dishes to sweets and desserts.
Add to the poaching liquid, along with cinnamon, for poached pears.
It is used internationally and essential in Italian Milanese Risotto, Spanish Paella, Indian Biryani & French Bouillabaisse.
