Garden Corms Pack of 10 corms

$24.99

Saffron corms are dormant from November to February. The grass-like leaves die in November, and the corms become dormant. We dig up our corms from November to December. They normally are ready by January every year.

Please Note: Due to the strict control of Plant Biosecurity within New Zealand Custom Border Control, we only ship the plants or corms in New Zealand.

Saffron corms should be planted 10 cm deep, individually in pots or 10cm apart in rows in free-draining soil. Fertilize liberally and freely water in February – March. If growing in pots, the corms need to experience cold, so put the pots outside, away from the house, and they will flower in late March or April.

High quality product. I love saffron tea. It seems expensive, but a little gives a lovely cuppa. Treat yourself and those close to you.
